CONCLUDING THOUGHTS AND VERSES

HOME

Why do mainstreamers misinterpret the Bible so badly? Short answer: The New Testament, according to actual statements by Jesus, appears to have been originally, deliberately recorded/written in a way so as to occasionally in a very subtle way, leave open the possibility for confusion in certain often “controversial” verses making it harder for the casual reader to be converted, or easier for the biased reader to claim the Bible supports his views, if each word in those verses is not very closely analyzed, and if the context is also not very closely analyzed. Also, seemingly “contradictory” verses like Romans 6:14 can hinder the correct understanding of them if such verses are not compared to other verses, which explain them. Thus the number of people saved will be temporarily minimized until the return of Jesus. According to some NT verses, God is now “calling,” or drawing to Him only a relatively small number of special people to be in the highly coveted first resurrection to be “kings and priests,” but these saints in training can understand or can learn to understand the Bible correctly now even as it was originally written. According to Revelation 20 mainstreamers may or should be in the much larger, second resurrection occurring a little over a thousand years after the first resurrection. So there is great hope for them.

Merely not explicitly itemizing in the NT all still applicable OT laws is not sufficient, conclusive proof, beyond reasonable doubt, that those laws have been done away with. When the NT was being written, the Apostles knew that Christians were able to read about those laws in the OT, and to record all of them again in the NT probably would have been considered unnecessarily redundant.

Matthew 19:17: “….. BUT IF you want to enter into life, KEEP the commandments,” (WEB) which contain the Saturday, not the man concocted Sunday rest law.

Revelation 22:14: “Blessed are those who DO HIS COMMANDMENTS, that they may HAVE THE RIGHT to the tree of life ……” (WEB) The Ten Commandments contain, again, the one requiring rest on Saturday. Sunday rest was started by the Catholics, who also were responsible for the murderous Inquisition. Catholics incorrectly believe that they have the divine right to create their own religious laws even if they contradict Biblical laws.

We are COMMANDED to obey the Ten Commandments 13 times in the NT.

Again, for most Christians, because it cannot be emphasized enough, “…… SIN IS THE VIOLATION OF THE TORAH.” according to 1 John 3:4 (exeGeses Companion Bible). Remember, sin really can keep you from entering God’s kingdom. The Bible’s Old Testament (Mosaic) laws are the Torah.

I encourage you to do a little easy EASY PREACHING by advertising or linking the name of this book to your own website, web page, on Twitter (X), on Facebook (Meta), or in a comment on any website. Start accumulating a little SPIRITUAL WEALTH that you can take with you after you die. Revelation 14:13: “Blessed are the dead who …… die in union with the Lord. …… Their good deeds go with them,” (Twentieth Century New Testament) Just one mention of this book on the internet can start a spiritual chain reaction among an increasingly larger and larger number of people. The following verses in Acts, Daniel, James, Timothy, Proverbs, and Jude not only encourage but COMMAND church members themselves to try to help others become more righteous.

Matthew 12:30:  “He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that GATHERETH NOT WITH ME SCATTERETH ABROAD.” (King James Version) In other words, just by doing nothing you could be judged as not helping Jesus to gather others, meaning in turn that you really are against Him.

Acts 8:3-4: ” …….. 4 …….. they (Christian church members themselves) that were scattered (by Saul’s persecutions) abroad went everywhere preaching the word.” (NKJV parenthesized words added)

James 5:20: ” …….. be sure of this: any man who brings a sinner back from his crooked ways will be rescuing his soul from death and cancelling innumerable sins.” (NKJV)

Jude 1,22,23: “…… To: Christians everywhere …… 22 Try to help those who argue against you. Be merciful to those who doubt. 23 Save some by snatching them as from the very flames of hell itself. And as for others, help them to find the Lord by being kind to them ……” (The Living Bible)

Jude 22,23: “And on some have mercy, who are in doubt; 23 and SOME SAVE, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear ……”          (American Standard Version)

1 Timothy 4:16: “Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.” (NKJV)

2 Timothy 4:2: “Preach the word! …….. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.” (NKJV)

Daniel 12:3: “Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.” (NKJV)

Proverbs 24:11,12: “Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. 12 If you say, ‘Surely we did not know this,’ Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?” (NKJV)

You, the reader, may ultimately be blessed for promoting this book since you will be helping Jesus “to gather others” for eventual entrance into God’s eternal, fabulously glorious kingdom.

James 5:20 says that by saving JUST ONE person, you will erase a tremendous number of sins you committed. Convincing just one other single person to be a little more righteous, too, can improve how you will ultimately be irreversibly judged.

Again, for emphasis, remember that if you’re not ACTIVELY helping Jesus “to gather others,” then you are actually WORKING AGAINST HIM helping “to scatter others.” (Matthew 12:30, King James Version)

The saved, if they want to, will even be able to look and sound like their favorite movie star [1 John 3:2, Mark 16:12]). Lee Marvin is my favorite.

It is hoped that the reader will search the online literature of the churches mentioned in this book to answer any question. Still wondering why well over 35,000 ordinary, decent people firmly believe that the enriching tithing, safe meat, mostly prophetic, hope filled festival laws, and rejuvenating Saturday rest laws are still in full force? To answer questions, email the letter answering departments of one or preferably all 3 of the following growing, safe haven, commandment keeping churches that should be among the most qualified to be in the highly coveted first resurrection: The Church of God, a Worldwide Association, info@cogwa.org, The United Church of God, an International Association, info@ucg.org, and The Living Church of God, pcd@lcg.org.
